The location is great, with a beautiful beach and plenty of marine life to discover just a few meters away. the staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile, especially at the dive centre. the rooms have a nice sea view, and the cleanliness is top-notch. the all-inclusive package is a good option for those looking for convenience.
The absence of a telephone in the room was bothersome, and the air conditioning was inconsistent. the lack of hot water in the shower and the wait time for it to heat up was also irritating.

Beautiful location, very friendly & helpfull crew. They realy do their upper best to give their guests all what they want and need. Snorkling is just amazing there, nice reef. Also the beach area is a very nice place. Ideal resort to relax and enjoy the nature, the view and eachother :)
The food is in buffet style, a mixture of all kind of foods is available. Its not haute cuisine but eatable. Also a lot of the food was Italian oriented. Would be nice to eat some more local specialities, since you can eat pasta everywhere .... Lot of Italian people there, they come there in group. Nothing wrong with this, but the whole setup there is focussed to them, there were even explanations at the reception written solely in Italian ... Makes you feel more in Italy then at an exotic island. Only a few sunbeds at the beach area, almost a fight to get a spot which makes this topic priority to look at for the crew in my opinion.

Wonderful place to relax, we traveled with our 4 young children and everyone had a great time. If you want to relax and unwind this is your place. Rooms are big, clean and the view from our ground floor room looked out over the water. Each ground floor room has their own sunbeds and swings so you have the choice of heading to the beach sunbeds or just lazing around outside your room. Rooms are cleaned twice daily. The snorkeling around the island was fabulous, we saw baby reef sharks, sting rays and a huge variety of fish. The snorkeling on the jetty side of the island is the better however even our 4 year old could comfortably snorkel on the beach side. The kids enjoyed playing with the islands hermit crabs, snorkeling, table tennis and never once did we get "i'm bored" Food was really nice with a good selection to suit all needs. Our waiter (Anis) was exceptional, on the first day we asked for a straw and he made sure every meal after there was a straw awaiting when we arrived, he also remembered how we liked our tea and coffee, just little things that really made a difference. Each day there is a different activity that you can take part in such as a trip to a local island, swim with whale sharks, swim with manta rays, fishing trips, diving (they offer a free intro dive which our boys loved). During our stay there was a mix of honeymooners and family's and although the island is small it never felt crowded.
The ground floor room we had was great however the people above us seemed to be constantly walking (thudding) around in their room and it was quite noisy at night when we were trying to sleep.

We had an incredible time at this hotel! The location, right above the sea, provided breathtaking views from our room. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room amenities were top-notch, including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. We loved the cozy sitting area where we could relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The dining restaurant was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to satisfy all tastes. The bar/lounge area was a great place to enjoy a refreshing drink and take in the stunning surroundings. The staff at this venue were truly exceptional and they made our experience here even more memorable.
We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

The island is beautiful. The hotel staff is kind and smiling all the time. The food is good, especially grilled fishs, except the deserts. The cocktails are very good but might sound expensive.
Deserts were very poor. Sea flight was much too early (06:30 am) while our plane was scheduled at 11:20 in Male : we had to wake up at 05:45 on our last day and then wait 4 hours in Male!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the Maldives. The location was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach and a well-maintained pool area. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a sunset bar and restaurant built over the reef, providing amazing views. The breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of food and chefs preparing fresh dishes. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and I appreciated that. The staff also provided transportation to nearby islands for a fee, which was convenient.
Couldn't fault anything about my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Ranveli. It is a small, quiet, low key, unpretentious but beautiful island which is exactly what we were looking for and has a fantastic beach which often felt like we had to our ourselves. Great snorkeling, and food was good and pretty varied. All staff we found to be very friendly and welcoming. Room was very spacious and comfortable and, whilst not brand new, was very well maintained. Rooms located in a beautifully kept tropical garden in the middle of the island. Prices of drinks etc have been revised since some of the reviews on this site and seemed pretty reasonable overall. Seaplane transfer is expensive but I think this goes for most resorts in the Maldives and its a cost you cant really avoid if the resort is any distance away from the capital. Of course you can find resorts that offer a more luxurious experience than Ranveli but prices will usually be eye watering and we really enjoyed how relaxed and low key it was. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay and it more than met our expectations for the price we were paying.
Dive centre slightly disorganized (think they were lacking a couple of staff)

Everything's just wonderful. Pleasantly full compliance with the information presented on the site with the reality! Definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family. Perfect for those who like to retreat without the hustle and bustle. Charming garden design and buildings, soulful (!) Staff, food - varied and tasty cocktails and fresh juices (the price of a bar - small) - better never tried, SPA - an expensive but extremely high quality, cleanliness of rooms, beach, pool! Overall this was what I wanted!
Unfortunately, there were problems with the reverse transfer - seaplane flight to Male was and so butt. But it was canceled. As a result, we came to check in half an hour of departure. Do not see why we can not be sent to Malé earlier flight seaplane?

The beach was absolutely stunning and the snorkeling was amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a laid-back atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious.
The lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms was inconvenient. The pool was a bit small and crowded.

I like it was an hotel on an Island by itself, with so many life: nature, flora and fauna. Service was excelente, food great and the place was completely set up for relaxing and enjoing the sea snorkeling.
